Hurford Hardwood scours the Northern and Western NSW regions for timber that is destined to be scrapped and wasted, it then machines and process the old and produces it into quality flooring products that not only has the aesthetics, but a history of a whole other life.
RECYCLED FLOORING SOURCED FROM POWER POLES
Recycled timber from recycled from power poles, bridges and wharves, which has had a life outside and is predominately Grey Ironbark and Spotted Gum with more imperfections.These timbers are well seasoned but if cut the moisture content from the centre to the outer edges varies quite considerably After the timber is cut it is dried in a kiln so the moisture equalizing process takes place before the timber is re-milled with a tongue & groove & end matched. Colour range creams, tans and reds. Recycled Flooring sizes available are 60 x19mm, 85 x 19mm, 115 x 19mm and 130 x 19mm
